Licensed Mental Health Therapist

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our dynamic behavioral health team. Duties Conduct thorough clinical assessments and diagnostic evaluations using ICD-10 coding standards to determine client needs and develop personalized treatment plans. Deliver individual, group, and family therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance therapy, and applied behavior analysis (ABA). Implement crisis intervention strategies and crisis management protocols to support clients experiencing acute mental health emergencies or trauma-related issues like PTSD. Maintain HIPAA-compliant medical documentation and accurate medical records while ensuring confidentiality and privacy of patient information. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate case management efforts for inpatient, outpatient, or community-based clients. Qualifications Must hold an active Maryland license: LCPC, LCSW-C, LMFT, LCADC, LMSW, LGPC (supervision available for LMSW/LGPC) Required Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in mental health (preferred) What you Need Strong knowledge of evidence-based practices and culturally competent care Ability to maintain professional boundaries and uphold ethical standards Organized, self-motivated, and client-centered Strong clinical and documentation skills Strong background working with children, adolescents, adults or geriatrics with a serious emotional disturbance, serious persistant mental health illness, and/or substance abuse disorder. Knowledge of ICD-9/ICD-10 coding systems for diagnostic evaluation and medical documentation purposes.
