Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented CNC Machine Operator to join a growing machine shop in the Kalamazoo area..
Shift:
- 1st Shift: 6:00 am - 4:30 pm (4 x 10's)
Pay: $19/hr
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate CNC and/or manual mills and lathes to manufacture parts to blueprint specifications.
- Inspect finished products using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring tools.
- Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot basic mechanical issues.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in accordance with company safety protocols.
- Complete production documentation and report any quality or equipment concerns.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience operating CNC mills/lathes or manual machines preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and use precision measuring instruments.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet production deadlines.
- Reliable attendance and transportation.
