Digital Media Intern

Elite Tournaments is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Digital Media Intern to support the marketing team through graphic design, video editing, and digital content creation. This internship is ideal for a student or recent graduate looking to gain hands-on experience creating content for sports organizations while building a professional portfolio. The intern will assist with producing engaging visual assets for social media, email marketing, websites, and event promotions while helping maintain a consistent brand across multiple clients and tournaments. This is a paid position. GRAPHIC DESIGN Design branded graphics for social media, email marketing, websites, and digital advertising Create promotional materials for upcoming events, registration campaigns, and special announcements Create templates and creative assets for tournaments and events, including social media graphics, email headers, signage concepts, digital advertisements, and other branded marketing materials Develop templates and creative assets that align with Elite Tournaments' brand standards Assist with sponsor and partner graphics as needed Prepare artwork for a variety of digital marketing initiatives Other duties as assigned VIDEO EDITING & CONTENT CREATION Edit short-form videos for Instagram Reels, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, and other digital platforms Create event recap videos using existing photo and video assets captured by Elite Tournaments staff and photographers Develop engaging motion graphics and animated content to support marketing campaigns Organize and manage photo and video assets for future use Stay current on social media trends and incorporate relevant editing styles and techniques when appropriate Other duties as assigned Assist in creating content for social media campaigns across multiple tournament brands Support the development of marketing materials for email campaigns, websites, and event promotions Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm creative content ideas and campaign concepts Help maintain visual consistency across all digital platforms and partner organizations Assist with additional marketing and creative projects as needed Other duties as assigned EVENT INFORMATION (Working Events will be optional) SAC Columbus Day Tournament (October 10-11) Columbia, MD Fall Classic Boys Weekend (November 14-15) Columbia, MD Fall Classic Girls Weekend (November 21-22) Columbia, MD Celtic Soccer Academy Elite Cup (December 5-6) Columbia, MD Baltimore Showcase (December 12-13) Edgewood, MD QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (especially Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and/or Illustrator), Canva or similar tools Superior oral and written communication skills Effective organizational skills for management of multiple tasks Creativity in brainstorming and executing content creation Obtaining a bachelor’s degree in a degree in Digital Media, Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, or related field PREFERRED SKILLS Strong understanding of social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, etc.) Extensive knowledge of the youth sports landscape and particularly the youth soccer and lacrosse tournament club, sector, and demographic in the United States.
