Base pay range $50.00/hr - $60.00/hr Title : Mechanical Design Engineer – Enclosure & Structural Analysis Locations : Novi, MI Duration : 12+ months contract role Pay Range : $50 to $60/hr on W2 Preferred Requirements Experience with mechanical enclosure design and analysis Proficiency in Siemens NX and ANSYS tools Strong knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) Experience with thermal and vibration analysis Basic Requirements Engineering Degree (preferably BS in a STEM discipline to allow application across multiple roles within evergreen requisitions) with minimum 5 years of experience , OR MS in STEM with minimum 3 years of experience Responsibilities In this role, you will: Perform component trade studies for new and existing hardware, create and review functional/physical interfaces, and generate analysis requirements for enclosures Collaborate with electronics engineering teams to develop enclosures that meet both electronic and mechanical requirements and guidelines Support creation of detailed drawings and model-based definitions; assist project/manufacturing teams to procure conforming hardware Lead Technical Reviews/Design Reviews and communicate solutions with project teams/customers, including developing technical presentations and technical reports Ensure compliance with applicable product certification requirements (e.g., RTCA/DO-160, MIL-STD-810) Pride Global offers eligible employee's comprehensive healthcare coverage (medical, dental, and vision plans), supplemental coverage (accident insurance, critical illness insurance and hospital indemnity), 401(k)-retirement savings, life & disability insurance, an employee assistance program, legal support, auto, home insurance, pet insurance and employee discounts with preferred vendors.
