What you'll do:

As a full-time optometrist at Buena Vista Eyecare Optometry, you’ll enjoy a rewarding and varied workday, caring for a diverse range of patients in a collaborative, multicultural setting. With a patient schedule of 22 slots over eight hours—dedicating at least 16 slots to exams—your day will be structured for efficiency, allowing you to conduct two or more comprehensive or medical eye exams per hour. You’ll utilize advanced, high-tech equipment to deliver precise diagnoses and personalized solutions while working alongside a dedicated team committed to compassionate, individualized care. The position offers a consistent four- to five-day workweek with eight-hour days, and you’ll benefit from a comprehensive package including a production bonus, paid time off, medical, dental, and vision insurance, malpractice coverage, and a continuing education allowance to support your professional growth. Job Specifications

Typically has the following skills or abilities:

Doctor of Optometry degree, O.D. including Third Party Administrator (TPA) certificate of licensure

1-3 years of clinical practice experience with current knowledge of Optometric technology and practices; new graduates are encouraged to apply

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Strong management, leadership, and organizational skills

Strong business aptitude, self-discipline, and ability to deliver outstanding patient service

Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in the performance of his/her job duties

Working Conditions

The working environment is generally favorable, lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc.
