Sloomoo’s universe has expanded - there are now a total of 7 Institutes (NYC, LA, Houston, Chicago, Atlanta, Charlotte, Washington DC) and two MiniMoos (Boston, Philadelphia) with more to come.

MiniMoos are smaller than the Institutes but packed with as much color, surprise, and play.

The Experience Support Associate plays an essential role in preparing and supporting Sloomoo Institute for daily operations. Working an early morning schedule from 6:00 AM - 11:00 AM, this position supports both facility readiness and back-of-house operations, helping ensure that guest-facing spaces are clean, safe, organized, stocked, and ready for opening, while also supporting receiving, inventory, product movement, and operational organization.

Once the Institute opens, the Experience Support Associate continues to support operational needs through guest operations, addressing facility, stocking, inventory, and back-of-house priorities as needed.

This is a hands-on role that combines elements of facilities upkeep, cleaning, receiving, inventory support, stocking, and general operational assistance, The ideal candidate is dependable, highly organized, comfortable performing physical work, and able to work independently while managing multiple priorities within a structured daily routine.

Responsibilities

Receiving, Inventory, & Stocking

• Receive, unload, inspect, and stock incoming deliveries.
• Maintain organized and clearly labeled storage areas.
• Assist with inventory tracking, cycle counts, and resolving discrepancies.
• Stock and replenish operational, retail, production, and cleaning supplies.
• Follow FIFO and established inventory procedures.
• Move products and supplies between departments as needed.

Facility & Experience Readiness

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and clean assigned areas throughout the facility.
• Clean and sanitize high-touch surfaces, work areas, windows, mirrors, and restrooms.
• Remove trash and recycling and maintain clean, organized waste areas.
• Ensure guest-facing and back-of-house areas are clean, organized, stocked, and ready for opening.
• Maintain organized janitorial, storage, and supply areas.
• Identify and report maintenance or safety concerns to leadership.
• Complete assigned daily cleaning and operational tasks.

Operational Support

• Assist with packing, labeling, organizing, and preparing products or materials.
• Maintain a clean and organized back-of-house workspace.
• Support production, retail, and Experience teams as operational needs arise.
• Conduct basic quality checks and escalate inventory or product concerns.
• Support operational needs during guest operations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to bend, reach, push, pull, squat, and navigate stairs.
• Ability to perform physically active cleaning, stocking, and inventory duties.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in hospitality, facilities, inventory, warehouse, retail, or similar environment preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities.
• Strong communication skills.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.
