Data Engineer

Our client, a leading organization in the data-driven industry, is seeking a Data Engineer to join their dynamic team. As a Data Engineer, you will be an integral part of the Data Engineering department supporting data collection, storage, and processing initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a collaborative spirit, which will enable you to thrive within the organization and contribute to innovative data solutions. Job Title: Data Engineer Location: Jersey City, NJ (3 days onsite every week) What's the Job? Build scalable ingestion, transformation, and storage pipelines across DataBricks Medallion Layers, Azure Data Factory, SQL Server, and staging/data layers Support Metrics Repository and onboarding of new datasets to ensure data accessibility and integrity Develop ETL pipelines to facilitate efficient data processing and analysis Ensure high data quality standards and optimize data storage solutions for performance Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement data solutions aligned with organizational goals What's Needed? Proficiency in Python and SQL for data manipulation and pipeline development Experience with cloud data tools, specifically Azure Data Factory Strong understanding of data architecture and storage solutions Ability to develop and optimize scalable data pipelines Excellent communication and teamwork skills to work effectively with diverse teams What's in it for me?
