We're seeking an Employee Communications & Events Coordinator to support a dynamic automotive research and development organization in the Greater Columbus area. What You'll Do Create and coordinate employee communications, leadership messages, presentations, announcements, and organizational updates Support town halls, leadership meetings, employee events, milestone celebrations, and engagement initiatives Assist with executive and leadership communications across the organization Coordinate photography, video content, digital communications, and promotional materials Help plan and manage site visits, facility tours, company meetings, and special events Partner with leaders, Human Resources, and business stakeholders to ensure timely, clear, and consistent messaging Support communication efforts related to business initiatives, organizational priorities, and employee programs Assist with urgent or time-sensitive communications when needed Manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, English, Business, or a related field 1+ years of professional experience in communications, marketing, public relations, administration, events, or a related area Excellent editing, proofreading, organizational, and project coordination abilities Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word Experience supporting executive or leadership communications Event planning, employee engagement, or corporate communications experience Experience creating presentations, newsletters, digital content, or internal communications Why You'll Love This Opportunity Hybrid schedule with remote Fridays Competitive pay between $26-$29/hour Opportunity to work directly with organizational leaders Exposure to executive communications and high-visibility business initiatives Professional development opportunities within a well-known global organization Collaborative, innovative, and employee-focused culture Excellent opportunity for recent graduates and early-career professionals looking to grow their communications career Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Columbus, OH. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $30.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
