Business Office Manager - Senior Living

Description Business Office Manager Location: Oakleaf Village and The Grove / 5500 Karl Road, Columbus, OH Make a Difference—And Own Your Future As the Executive Director at the Ashford on Broad, you will join a team that is leading in clinical KPIs under the guidance of a strong Director of Care and a supportive regional team. The community is operationally sound and has recently renovated resident floors. An upcoming main floor renovation is underway and the property is benefiting from investment that improves the surrounding neighborhood near Whitehall. Essential Functions and Responsibilities of the Business Office Manager Process community billing and send monthly statements to residents or POA. Collect payments, processing each month and following up on late or incorrect payments from all payors. Maintain documents and data to assist Corporate Accounting in processing Medicaid claims and billing. Interface with staff on time‑keeping, personnel paperwork, and scheduling. Complete resident agreements and maintain resident/front‑office filing systems. Supervise day‑to‑day front‑office functions of the receptionist. Process accounts payable, coordinating with other departments on coding and processing. Maintain office and computer equipment within policy. Communicate significant issues with Regional BOM. Perform other related duties as assigned. About You High school diploma or equivalent required. Extensive office experience required. Two years’ previous management experience preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills with coworkers, residents, family members, and business partners. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret reports. Ability to respond to inquiries or complaints from internal and external sources. Proficiency using Microsoft Office. Ability to make complex decisions requiring a high degree of judgment, with impacts on overall community operations. Wallick’s Mission & Values Care – We show compassion and respect for everyone.
