Essential Functions and Responsibilities of the Business Office Manager Process community billing and send monthly statements to residents or POA. Collect payments, processing each month and following up on late or incorrect payments from all payors. Maintain documents and data to assist Corporate Accounting in processing Medicaid claims and billing. Interface with staff on time‑keeping, personnel paperwork, and scheduling. Complete resident agreements and maintain resident/front‑office filing systems. Supervise day‑to‑day front‑office functions of the receptionist. Process accounts payable, coordinating with other departments on coding and processing. Maintain office and computer equipment within policy. Communicate significant issues with Regional BOM. Perform other related duties as assigned. About You High school diploma or equivalent required. Extensive office experience required. Two years’ previous management experience preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills with coworkers, residents, family members, and business partners. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret reports. Ability to respond to inquiries or complaints from internal and external sources. Proficiency using Microsoft Office.
