Position: 4th Grade Teacher Campus: Manzanita Elementary School Year: July 8, 2026 - May 19, 2027 What to Expect A supportive environment with opportunities for professional development and growth. A retirement pension through Arizona State Retirement System where 100% of your contributions are matched by the District. Compensation Base Pay : Salary ranges are determined by years of experience and higher education. The contracted salary plus $8,500 in Prop 301 money creates the base wages for teachers; Prop 301 money is paid separately and not included in the employment contract. Salary range for up to four years of teaching experience: $45,575 - $55,475. Salary range for four or more years of teaching experience: $47,575 - $57,475. Performance Pay : Eligible for an additional $4,500 in Prop 301 performance pay. One‑Time Critical Needs Stipends (pending certification): Math, science, or kindergarten: $2,000 stipend. Special education: $5,000 stipend. Available Annual Stipends (pending certification): Special Education teachers: case management stipend up to $4,000 for FY 2025-26. Special Education teachers in ED-P classrooms: stipend up to $10,000 for FY 2025-26. Qualifications Bachelor's or more advanced degree from an accredited institution. Identity Verified Print (IVP) fingerprint clearance card through Arizona Department of Public Safety, or ability to obtain prior to start date. Teaching certification through Arizona Department of Education: Standard Professional Elementary, K-8. SEI, ESL, or Bilingual Endorsement issued by Arizona Department of Education, within one year of hire. Arizona offers an alternative path to certification for those with a Bachelor's or more advanced degree. Individuals pursuing a teaching career through this alternative pathway must enroll in an Arizona Department of Education approved teacher preparation program and obtain an Alternative Teaching Certificate to be eligible for hire. #J-18808-Ljbffr
