Overview
Registered Nurse – Emergency Room (Travel) in Hermiston, Oregon. Start date 07/13/2026 for a 13-week assignment. Guaranteed 36 hours per week with a 3x12-hour day shift in a critical access hospital ER setting. This travel temporary assignment is with Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

Responsibilities
- Conduct patient assessments on arrival, document vitals, history, and current symptoms
- Triage and prioritize patient care based on acuity; initiate emergency interventions as ordered
- Administer medications, IV fluids, and emergency treatments; perform procedures as needed
- Monitor patient status continuously; respond to changes and escalate as required
- Coordinate care with physicians, NPs, and support staff; document plans and responses in the medical record
- Provide patient and family education on diagnoses, procedures, and follow-up care
- Respond to rapid response calls and code blue situations; participate in patient safety and infection control practices
- Ensure patient rights, dignity, and confidentiality are maintained; participate in quality improvement initiatives

Requirements
- Licensure: Current RN license in the State of Oregon
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC required
- Education: Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing; BSN preferred
- Experience: None required; previous clinical experience desired
- Abilities: Must be able to work in a fast-paced ER environment, handle high-stress situations, and lift up to 50 pounds; continuous standing/walking; able to work 12-hour shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
