Endoscopy Registered Nurse - Asheville, NC

Location: Asheville, NC

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Four (9 hour) day shifts scheduled between Monday and Friday. Start time depends on daily assignment.

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Endoscopy Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This role involves working in Pre-op, PACU, and Procedure areas within our busy Endoscopy unit. The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care and support throughout the endoscopic procedures. Responsibilities include administering medications, monitoring patients during and post-procedure, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

Prepare patients for endoscopic procedures in Pre-op.
Monitor and assess patients in PACU recovery.
Assist during procedures in the Procedure Unit.
Provide patient education and support.
Maintain a safe and sterile environment as per protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Prior experience as a registered nurse in an Endoscopy or related setting.
Active North Carolina or Compact State Nursing License.
Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
Preferred: Experience in pediatric and pulmonary endoscopy.
