Production Test Engineer

Who We Are Lockheed Martin: An Award-Winning Place to Work. Responsibilities Performing top‑level and subassembly testing activities. Conducting tester certification and calibration. Troubleshooting test failures for production and field return assets. Performing acceptance testing in accordance with documented procedures. Populating test logs and data sheets. Compiling As‑Built Lists (ABL). Generating Quality Notifications for hardware deficiencies. Documenting issues with Special Test Equipment (STE). Basic Qualifications Familiarity with testing LRUs/SRUs using various equipment such as environmental chambers, testers, vibration equipment, etc. Experience with evaluation / troubleshooting test failures using diagnostic methods and tools. Adherence to quality procedures within the Product Test organization. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 2 years of professional experience; or no experience required with a Master’s degree. Must be able to obtain a government security clearance for this position. Desired Skills Knowledge of digital / RF circuitry. Knowledge of circuitry equipment: Oscilloscope, digital multimeter, high‑frequency measurements, testing, network analyzers, spectrum analyzers; perform root‑cause analysis down to component level. Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office software. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to work in a dynamic, team‑based environment. Security Clearance This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a U.S. citizen for consideration. Clearance level: Secret. Compensation & Benefits Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington, or Washington, D.C. is $70,100 – $123,625. For other states, the salary range will reflect the final work location.
