This pivotal role involves leading the finance team, partnering with the President and Board to drive long-term strategy, and modernizing financial systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for shaping the institution's financial future, particularly in the context of growth and transformation, and must be adept at fostering a culture of financial stewardship, transparency, and accountability. The role requires a strategic and forward-thinking financial leader, ideally with a background in higher education, healthcare education, or nonprofit environments, who can align financial strategy with the company's mission of expanding healthcare access in rural and underserved communities. Applicants for the Vice President for Finance and Administration / Chief Financial Officer position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a preference for a Master's degree and CPA or equivalent financial certification. Significant experience in financial operations, budgeting, and institutional financial strategy is essential, as is a proven track record in financial planning, forecasting, and reporting at an enterprise level. The role demands a leader with strong expertise in financial modeling, resource allocation, and long-range planning, who can also demonstrate experience in partnering with executive leadership teams and governing boards.
