Senior Construction Project Manager (Baltimore)

CSP is partnering with a highly respected commercial real estate and general contractor, headquartered in Ellicott City, Maryland, specializing in multifamily projects throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. The Senior Construction Project Manager will serve as a key leader within the organization, responsible for managing complex multifamily construction projects from preconstruction through final closeout. Acting as both a project leader and owner's representative, this individual will oversee project budgets, schedules, subcontractor relationships, client communications, and overall project execution.

Responsibilities

• Manage multifamily construction projects from preconstruction through owner turnover.
• Lead all aspects of project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and financial performance.
• Oversee subcontractor buyouts, contract negotiations, procurement, and scope management.
• Coordinate architects, consultants, field teams, and trade partners to ensure successful project execution.
• Lead project meetings and maintain strong communication with owners and key stakeholders.
• Review RFIs, change orders, construction documents, and value engineering opportunities.
• Monitor project quality, safety, schedule, and budget while proactively resolving project challenges.
• Manage project closeout, punch lists, final inspections, and turnover documentation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial construction project management experience with a General Contractor.
• Ground-up multifamily construction experience strongly preferred.
• Experience managing multiple commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Strong knowledge of scheduling, budgeting, subcontractor management, buyouts, contract administration, and change order management.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, civil, and MEP drawings.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship management skills with owners, architects, consultants, and subcontractors.
• Field experience as a Superintendent, Assistant Superintendent, Lead Carpenter, or similar role is a plus.
