Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Operating Room

Location: Akron, Ohio
Duration: 13 Weeks

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to provide perioperative nursing care in a fast-paced surgical environment. The RN will be responsible for circulating during surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety, maintaining sterile technique, and collaborating with the surgical team to deliver high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a Circulator RN during surgical procedures.
• Perform preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative patient assessments.
• Ensure compliance with surgical safety protocols and sterile techniques.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical technologists to provide optimal patient care.
• Monitor patient condition throughout procedures and respond appropriately to changes.
• Accurately document patient care and surgical events.
• Assist in maintaining operating room readiness and efficiency.

Requirements

• Active Ohio RN License or Compact RN License required.
• Minimum 18 months of recent Operating Room experience required.
• Scrub experience preferred.
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Strong knowledge of perioperative nursing practices and patient safety standards.
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary surgical team.

Schedule

• Day Shift
• Three 12-hour shifts per week
• Typical shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
