Registered Nurse (RN) – Med Surg/Telemetry (Nights)

Contract | Night Shift | Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of patient care as a member of the interdisciplinary team
• Manage and monitor patients on cardiac, heparin, insulin, and titration drips
• Document and coordinate patient care using EPIC EMR
• May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses
• Expected to work 1–2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's)

Required Qualifications

• Active Iowa RN State License
• BLS certification (AHA)
• ACLS certification (AHA)
• NIHSS certification
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Med Surg, Telemetry, or Med/Tele; first-time travelers accepted with at least 3 years of nursing experience
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Must not have been employed by the facility within the last 12 months
• Must have a taxable home address at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience managing drip titration in a telemetry or medical-surgical setting
• Charge nurse or preceptor experience
• Prior travel nursing experience
