Air Culinaire Worldwide, LLC Full Time US – ACW Manual Labor – Scottsdale, AZ, US Salary Range: $20.00 To $20.00 Hourly Job Purpose: The expeditors’ primary role is to manage the "Order Management Process" while adhering to all HACCP, local, and state food safety practices. This includes receiving orders, disseminating the information, communicating actions needed for the order, creating shopping and production sheets as well as direct communication with the customer, local kitchen team, and Guest Services team. Responsibilities and Associated Duties: Primary responsibilities include overseeing order completion, ensuring quality assurance, managing packaging and labeling, coordinating delivery timing, and maintaining compliance with system specifications. The Expeditor verifies that food quality and specifications match the kitchen-issued specification within the software system. The Expeditor carefully checks all food quality, ensuring it matches the presentation provided in the specifications. All employees use Shipday for order logistics and deliveries, including taking a delivery photo and recording the recipient’s name. Cell phones are available for company business tasks. The Expeditor directly serves Air Culinaire customers by phone, email, and in-person (as applicable) and obtains feedback regarding product and service. The Expeditor relays feedback and suggestions to the Catering Director or General Manager to monitor, maintain, and improve quality. The Expeditor serves as the central kitchen captain of quality and accuracy and acts as an on‑site problem solver for immediate issues. The Expeditor resolves issues following company procedures related to customer quality, satisfaction, safety, and cost. Responsibilities may include picking up supplies as needed, routine vehicle cleaning and maintenance. The Expeditor maintains quality control and food‑safety procedures of food products during delivery. The Expeditor dresses professionally and follows uniform guidelines. Assist with assembly of silverware units and stocking items, maintaining shopping lists and runs at least 3 days in advance of delivery, and keeping the "shopping shelf" of retail items. Meet weekly with the GM to ensure ACW standards and procedures are accurately reflected in day‑to‑day operations. Safely operate company vehicles and drive in compliance with all local and federal laws and regulations. Cross‑train to prepare or produce food in the kitchen, or drive, as a secondary duty during slow business or staffing shortages. Perform all other duties assigned by the General Manager. Measures of Success: Annual Performance Review – success is measured using the results of the Annual Performance Review (bi‑annually), conducted at the start of each fiscal year and at the six‑month mark, focusing on specific job responsibilities and core service goals. Stellar Customer Service Integrity & Accountability Entrepreneurial Spirit Teamwork Commitment Knowledge, Experience and Skill Requirements: High School diploma is required. Previous face‑to‑face customer service experience in aviation, food services, or hospitality industry is essential. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in email, internet use, and basic office software. Prior knowledge of aviation terminology preferred. FDA Regulations and safe food handling required. Sense of priority, ability to work in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Prior hospitality/food expeditor and delivery experience preferred. Clear driving record required. Operational Demands Flexibility required to work weekends and holidays. Candidates must be able to travel in accordance with the current ACW Travel Policy. These demands represent those required to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Language Skills Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Mathematical Skills Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Reasoning Skills Ability to apply good judgment and understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Physical Demands The employee is regularly required to sit, talk, or listen. The employee frequently uses hands to handle, reach, and carry with hands and arms, and must stand and walk. The employee must lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. These physical demands represent those required to perform the essential functions of this job.
