Clinical Pharmacist

We're looking for a sharp, patient focused pharmacist to join the team at a 200 bed community hospital in Fishersville, VA for a 13 week contract, with potential to extend. If you thrive in a fast paced inpatient setting and want to broaden your experience while getting paid to explore a beautiful part of Virginia, this one's worth a look.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Verifying medication orders for accuracy, appropriateness, and safety
• Supervising and supporting pharmacy technicians throughout daily operations
• Collaborating directly with physicians and nursing staff on medication therapy and patient care decisions
• Working within Epic and Pyxis systems to manage medication distribution and documentation
• Ensuring compliance with hospital policies and pharmacy regulatory standards

What You'll Need:

• Active Virginia pharmacist license
• Prior hospital/inpatient pharmacy experience
• Working knowledge of Epic and Pyxis
• Strong communication skills and comfort collaborating with a multidisciplinary care team
• Ability to work day-shift schedules (mix of 8- and 10-hour shifts)
