Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences & Disorders
• Current state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP in West Virginia
• Experience in school-based or pediatric settings is highly valued
• Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome to apply
• Knowledge of IEP documentation, assessments, and progress monitoring
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with educators, families, and students
• SLPA candidates with school experience may also be considered

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct therapy and diagnostic services to students with communication needs across the full school year
• Develop, implement, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to support student success in the classroom
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of student progress and documentation
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning
• Provide guidance and support to staff and families regarding communication strategies
