Automation Sales Representative

Beckman Coulter Life Sciences seeks an Automation Sales Representative to drive sales of automated laboratory solutions across the Upper Midwest. The role involves developing annual sales plans, conducting customer site visits and demonstrations, managing forecasts, and tracking competitive activity. Candidates should hold a bachelor's degree with 2+ years in life sciences, academic, or technical equipment sales, strong presentation skills, and CRM experience.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement annual regional sales plans with objectives, opportunities, and trade show participation
- Conduct customer site visits, demonstrations, seminars, and channel management activities
- Submit monthly sales forecasts and maintain accurate pipeline details in Salesforce
- Collect and report competitive activity within assigned Upper Midwest territory
- Coordinate distributor training and maintain customer contact lists
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in related field with 2+ years life sciences or technical equipment sales experience
- Strong communication and presentation skills with tactical sales expertise
- Demonstrated track record of success in life science or capital equipment sales
- Territory management and interpersonal skills with team collaboration ability
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, CRM, and Salesforce platforms
Compensation: $95,000-$120,000 base; eligible for bonus/incentive pay
