Job Summary:
The healthcare professional will serve as a Registered Nurse (RN) in an Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) located in Iowa City, Iowa. This role involves providing care mostly for neuro and vascular patients, with a focus on neuro experience. The position is scheduled for night shifts beginning on July 20, 2026, and offers a comprehensive opportunity to work in a fast-paced, acute care environment requiring strong neuro skills.

Job Details:

• Location: Iowa City, Iowa
• Position: RN in an Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) specializing in neuro and vascular patients
• Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license; strong neuro experience; certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); level 1 trauma experience
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with neuro spine patients and vascular patient care
• Additional Information: This unit will predominantly treat neuro and vascular patients, including the lowest acuity neuro spine patients. The staffing ratio targeted is approximately 3:1 with some 4:1 staffing at nights. The unit requires candidates with a solid neuro background, as well as experience in trauma settings.
