Equix Energy Services is an energy and utilities contractor that provides high-quality pipeline and facility construction services. Equix Energy Services is currently seeking an efficient, safety-minded Locator for underground utility construction services. We have long-term work available for the right candidate in a variety of positions and locations. At Equix, we support our customers and stakeholders and constantly strive to exceed expectations with all of our services, which include: Pipeline Construction, Gas Distribution, Horizontal Directional Drilling, Facility Construction and Fabrication, and Trenching services.

Job Responsibilities:

• Identifies and marks buried utilities utilizing specific locating devices
• Be able to read and understand utility provided maps/prints
• Familiar with Digitrack locating equipment for directional drills
• Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

• Valid Driver License with clean record
• Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug screening
• Traveling out of town to work on remote job sites when needed or directed by manager
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs, bend, reach, stand, climb, kneeling, and pushing
• Ability to walk on uneven terrain in dirt and grass or on streets and sidewalks
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Must be able to perform the physical demands of the job
• Prior locating experience highly preferred
