Mainline Automotive Technician at BMW Las Vegas - Pay $29-$37

Position Overview The Mainline Automotive Service Technician performs vehicle repair and maintenance as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards, building customer loyalty by ensuring confidence in AutoNation as a trusted care‑giver for vehicle safety and reliability. Pay & Incentives Flat‑rate technicians earn $29–$37+ per hour based on experience, training, and certifications. Eligible for longevity and additional bonuses based on productivity, proficiency, and overrides. Team & Environment Work with tenured service technicians and advisors at a busy, temperature‑controlled shop. Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities Perform vehicle repair and/or maintenance work as outlined on the repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards. Communicate with the parts department and service advisors regularly to effectively manage production and customer communication. Diagnose the cause of any malfunction and perform repair, if authorized by the customer. Conduct multi‑point inspections to make appropriate recommendations to ensure safety and reliability of customer vehicles. Document work performed on each vehicle on the repair order. Maintain an inventory of normal technician tools not normally inventoried by the service department. Keep abreast of factory technical bulletins and participate in factory‑sponsored training classes as appropriate. Provide an exceptional customer experience to drive loyalty. Automotive technical training (varies by store needs). Attention to detail, organization, and follow‑up skills. Valid in‑state driver’s license and acceptable, safe driving record.
