Class Specification Identifying Information Job Title: Teacher Classification Level: Teacher Salary Schedule Reports to: Building Administrator Summary of Assignment Under general direction of the building administrator, is responsible for planning, providing, and evaluating varied learning experiences of students in cooperation with other staff members, parents, and the public. Essential Functions Makes long and short-range plans for each subject area of instruction. Thorough knowledge of subject areas taught. Provides for individual differences in the learning needs of students. Demonstrates subject mastery. Provides a classroom climate based on mutual respect, rapport, fairness, and consistency. Demonstrates competency in instructional skills. Evaluates in terms of planned goals and revises instruction as a result of the evaluation. Meets classes, renders accurate reports, performs assigned duties punctually. Adjusts to varied situations, demands, and new instructional concepts. Fulfills job-related non‑teaching duties. Conditions of Employment Employment with Clover Park School District is conditional pending completion of a Washington State Patrol and Federal Bureau of Investigation fingerprint background check as required by RCW28A.400.303.
