Great Leadership opportunity for an Experienced Registered Nurse

Days/Second- Weekends

Supervises the day-to-day activities of staff in the Emergency Department. Ensures adequate staffing of nursing and ancillary services personnel. Coordinates staff and resources to ensure cohesive, high quality patient care. Responsible for the efficient flow of patients in the Emergency Department.

Where You Will Work:

Aurora Sinai Medical Centers Emergency Department is in the heart of downtown Milwaukee that serves approximately 60,000 patients each year. Our newly renovated department has a 42-bed capacity and features rooms specially designed for fast track, general medical and critical care patients. Our team is prepared at any time to treat patients presenting for a variety of complaints with a wide range of acuity levels.

Sinais Emergency Department is certified as a level IV trauma care facility by the state of Wisconsin. We have also been recognized by the American Heart Association and American Stroke Association with the Get With The Guidelines-Stroke GOLD PLUS achievement award and are accredited by the American College of Emergency Physicians as a Geriatric Emergency Department. The Emergency Department staff at Aurora Sinai Medical Center is dedicated to the community and the patients we serve.

Were Looking For:

• 
  Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing

  Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices

  Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
