Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

The assignment takes place from August 11th, 2026, through June 4th, 2027. You’ll work 37.5 hours per week, supporting learners in a structured and supportive academic environment. Specific information about classroom duties and caseloads will be provided prior to assignment.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Special Education Teaching credential or eligibility for credential in California
• Experience developing and implementing IEPs (Individualized Education Programs)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with colleagues, students, and families
• Commitment to differentiated instruction and inclusive practices
• Previous experience in a school setting is highly valued

Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging instruction tailored to individual learning needs
• Develop, modify, and oversee IEPs to guide student success
• Maintain accurate records and ongoing progress reports
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to support holistic development
• Foster a positive, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment
• Participate in professional development sessions as required
