Mill MachinistWe are seeking a skilled Mill Machinist to join our team on the second shift from 2:30 pm to 1 am, Monday through Thursday. This role involves setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines, interpreting technical drawings, and ensuring precision in machining processes.ResponsibilitiesSet up, operate, and maintain CNC machines for various machining processes.Interpret technical drawings and CAD models to determine machining requirements.Utilize precision measuring instruments, such as calipers and micrometers, to ensure accuracy of machined parts.Set up and operate Bridgeport type mills.Perform routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot any operational issues.Cut, shape, and form metal parts using manual drill press, lathes, power saws, snips, files, sand blasters, surface grinders, and mallets.Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet specifications.Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve efficiency.Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.Essential Skills4+ years of experience in machining.Proficiency in setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machinery.Ability to use precision hand tools such as calipers and micrometers.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with Bridgeport, Mastercam, Haas, and manual machining.Comfortable with training on first shift for 6 months to 1 year.Why Work Here?Enjoy comprehensive benefits including matching retirement plans, dental, health, life, and vision insurance, along with paid time off.Work EnvironmentThe position requires working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to moving equipment and mechanical parts.
