Title: Mechanical Engineer – Most Urgent Location: Plainview, NY (4 Opening) ; San Jose, CA (2 Opening) & Horsham, PA (5 Opening) Customer: Veec saCompany Preferred: AMAT , LAM research , KLA , Onto innovati : Mechanical design and development with 3+ years of experience in Semiconductor/High-tech/ Special purpose machine industr y. Design experience using Solidworks, AutoCAD ProE or similar 3D CAD system is require d. Experience designing Capital Equipment for Semiconductor Industry is preferred (vacuum vessels, wafer handling, motion mechanisms, etc ) Knowledge of ion beam and/or vacuum physics is preferre t. Knowledge in Machined component s. Sheet metal parts design and Detailin g. Design of weldments and fabrication knowled ge Knowledge of drafting standards, ASME Y 14.5 GD&T standar d. Experience in SAP or similar PLM syste m. Knowledge of Engineering change notifications and implementing changes ECR/ECO/EC N. Structural and thermal finite element analysis experience (Solidworks Simulation, ANSYS, etc) is preferr ed. Understanding of manufacturing process and toleranc e. Excellent verbal and written communication skill s. Education requirements: Mechanical Engineering curriculum with applicable industry experience, BE/B Tech/ BS.
