Job Title: Nuclear Medicine / PET Technologist
Location: Mission Viejo, CA

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine / PET Technologist for a contract opportunity at a leading acute care hospital. This role will primarily focus on PET imaging, with occasional support in Nuclear Medicine as needed. Candidates must have recent PET experience and a strong background in nuclear imaging procedures.

Requirements

Minimum 1 year of Nuclear Medicine experience required
At least 6 months of PET experience required (mandatory)
First-time travelers accepted with 2+ years of experience
Active California license required
ARRT (N) or NMTCB certification required
BLS certification required
Experience with Epic and Siemens systems preferred

Responsibilities

Perform PET and Nuclear Medicine imaging procedures in accordance with department protocols.
Prepare, administer, and monitor radiopharmaceuticals safely and accurately.
Ensure high-quality diagnostic images while maintaining patient comfort and safety.
Operate and maintain imaging equipment according to manufacturer and regulatory guidelines.
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to support accurate diagnoses and treatment planning.
Complete thorough and timely documentation within the EMR system.
