This is a hands-on opportunity to build practical manufacturing experience while partnering with production, quality, and engineering teams. Your primary project will be to create, standardize, and document shop-floor Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that help teams work safely, consistently, and efficiently. What youll do Develop, format, and publish SOPs/work instructions for key manufacturing processes and equipment Work directly with operators and supervisors to capture best practices and clarify process steps Partner with Operations, Quality and Engineering to support document control, training materials, and change updates Support continuous improvement activities (data collection, basic analysis, and implementation follow-up) Spend time on the production floor to understand workflow, safety requirements, and product quality expectations What youll Learn How a global manufacturer runs day-to-day operations in a production environment How to translate technical processes into clear, usable documentation for training and consistency Professional communication skills through cross-functional teamwork and shop-floor engagement This role is best suited for students pursuing a Bachelors degree in an engineering discipline (or related field) who are interested in manufacturing, process improvement, and practical problem-solving.
