Internal Medicine Physician

MercyOne is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Internal Medicine Physician to join the Clinton Family Practice team in North Health Plaza, Clinton, Iowa. This is a full‑time, outpatient‑only position with a 1:3 shared outpatient call schedule. Benefits & Incentives $150,000 recruitment incentive. Competitive base compensation, $300,908 guarantee over 2 years. Eligibility for Public Service Loan Forgiveness. Relocation allowance up to $15,000. 240 hours of paid annual time off. $3,000 CME allowance. Health, dental, vision, life, long‑term and short‑term disability insurance—effective the first day of employment. 403(b) retirement plan with employer match and optional 457(b). Employer‑sponsored professional liability insurance with tail coverage. Qualifications MD or DO with U.S., U.K. or Canadian training. Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine (U.S., U.K., or Canadian board). Unrestricted Iowa medical license in current good standing. Current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications appropriate to the field of practice. Eligibility to work in the United States (J‑1, H‑1B and other visa categories welcome). Location The MercyOne Clinton North Health Plaza is a multispecialty facility in Clinton, Iowa. The practice has 4 physicians, 5 APPs and supporting staff. It serves a busy patient volume with services including primary care, cardiology, nephrology, OB/GYN, orthopedics and pediatrics.
