Working Conditions Work is performed indoors and outdoors in a maintenance environment and may involve exposure to changing weather, temperature extremes, dust, dirt, noise, moisture, and maintenance-related hazards. Salary Information This position is assigned as a pay range 007 of the State of Ohio’s pay schedule, with a starting hourly rate of $22.60 and current range up to $25.77 per hour . Starting pay is usually at the minimum of the range unless otherwise required by law or union contract, or unless the selected candidate's qualifications warrant consideration above the minimum. With continued employment and satisfactory performance, employees generally advance to the next pay step after six (6) months and then annually thereafter.
