Product Marketing Manager Berlin, BE, Germany About the Job Product Marketing Manager A cutting-edge cross-chain smart contract platform is seeking to bring in an experienced and commercially focused Product Marketing Manager with experience in blockchain/crypto projects, ideally in the Polkadot ecosystem. This is a chance to bring your experience across marketing, design and community engagement, to create a full marketing strategy for growth and scale-up. The Role This remote role will report directly to Head of Marketing, you will create and manage Product Marketing strategy defining how to shape the offering that is being built by the Engineering team for the target audiences which include: developer houses, future investors/token holders, enterprise, entrepreneurs, and the general public. In summary you will understand the target audience, segment them, position the product and define a targeting strategy helping to ensure the success and direction of this highly innovative and well backed platform, bringing something new and exciting to the sector. Key Duties Collaborate with the Head of Marketing on the creation of the Marketing Strategy and Go-to-Market plan Create a product marketing strategy for creating a strong value proposition that will ensure product-market fit, driving product uptake and adoption Use marketing research, competitive analysis, insights from the community and investors, and other sources to map the ecosystem, uncover deep customer needs, and define product positioning and targeting Leverage data and customer insights to recommend current and future growth opportunities, including new functionality, new distribution opportunities, and CX improvements Liaise product information about the company with partners such as exchanges and referral websites like Coinmarketcap and Coingecko Provide regular reports and insights to the wider Marketing team and Leadership The Successful Candidate This role will suit a Marketing expert who lives and breathes blockchain, who has worked on best Marketing strategy and growth for Web3 focussed companies. 2+ years of Product Marketing experience with blockchain/Web3 projects AND/OR 4+ years of experience in Product Marketing for Web2 companies Keen interest in Crypto and blockchain, as well as deep knowledge of different protocol strategies and positioning Deep experience in setting marketing strategies and go-to-market strategies, ideally in crypto or fintech Excellent written and spoken English Be process-driven, detail-oriented but also pragmatic and service-focused Be willing to work in a remote, distributed team The Reward A chance to join a genuine game changer in the blockchain space.
