Exciting opportunity to join our team at the Renaissance Baltimore Harborplace Hotel as the Senior Group Sales Manager. In this position, you will lead group booking and event revenue strategies, typically within the hospitality, travel, or entertainment industries. Compensation:$80,000 - $110,000 yearly
Responsibilities:Drive Revenue: Proactively source, pitch, and secure new group business, corporate accounts, and large events to meet or exceed monthly and annual quotas.
Manage Accounts: Nurture relationships with key clients, plan client site inspections, conduct rate negotiations, and draft sales contracts.
Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with catering, operations, and guest services teams to ensure flawless execution of group requirements.
Market Analysis: Monitor local market trends, competitor pricing, and industry shifts to adjust sales strategies.
Leadership & Coaching: Mentor junior sales staff, track team performance metrics, and assist in closing high-value deals.
Experience: Minimum of 3 to 5 years of proven sales experience, preferably within a hotel or luxury property environment.
Education: A Bachelor’s degree in business administration, hospitality management, or a related field is often preferred.
Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM systems and property management software such as Opera, Delphi, or Salesforce.
Soft Skills: Exceptional negotiation, presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
