Work Environment\nThe Mental Health Therapist will work from a remote setting, allowing for flexibility while facilitating access to essential mental health services. Our clinic operates Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening hours based on patient needs. As a part of our multidisciplinary team, you will collaborate with geriatric psychiatrists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a seamless delivery of care.

- Keep abreast of the latest research and best practices within geriatric psychiatry to enhance therapeutic effectiveness. \n

Qualifications\n- \n
- A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Professional Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution. \n
- A valid and current license as an LCMFT, LCPC, LCP, LCSW, LSCSW, or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) in the state of Kansas. \n
- A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in mental health therapies, with a specific focus on geriatric patients. \n
- Demonstrated understanding of geriatric mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities. \n
- Experience in delivering therapy tailored to the older adult population and their families. \n
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating empathy and patience in all interactions. \n
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems, with the ability to adapt to new technologies. \n
