Bankruptcy Senior Attorney - Chicago, IL Direct Counsel is partnering with a nationally recognized AmLaw 200 law firm to identify an Attorney with 5-7 years of experience to join its Corporate Restructuring & Bankruptcy business unit . Candidates must hold an active license in the State of Illinois or eligible for admission without examination.The ideal candidate will possess the following experience and skills:
- Bankruptcy specific experience representing business debtors, creditors, landlords, and supply chain parties
- Familiarity with the bankruptcy code, the uniform commercial code, and experience with commercial transactions, corporate workouts and restructurings
- Strong advocacy, research, and writing skills
- Strong academic credentials from an ABA-accredited law school are required
- Detail-oriented, organized, and possess a solid work ethic
Compensation & Benefits:
Salary range: $190,000 – $220,000 annually (DOE).
Eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
