About the Role

The Company is in search of a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join its executive leadership team. The COO will be instrumental in translating the CEO's strategic vision into daily operational execution, with a primary focus on the dealership's core functions, including sales, rental, service, parts, logistics, and fleet management. This role demands a seasoned operational leader with a proven track record in heavy equipment, construction machinery, or industrial distribution environments. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving operational excellence, implementing scalable processes and systems, and leading cross-functional teams to ensure exceptional performance. Strategic initiatives such as geographic expansion, OEM negotiations, and post-acquisition integration will also be key areas of partnership with the CEO. Applicants for the COO position at the company should have a minimum of 10-15 years' of progressive leadership experience in a relevant industry, with a Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field. An MBA is strongly preferred. The role requires a deep understanding of dealership operations, including rental fleets, depreciation strategies, RPO programs, and regulatory/safety compliance. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, build a high-performance culture, and possess exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. A data-driven approach to decision-making, strong financial and operational analytics skills, and a track record of process improvement are essential for this executive position.
