Job Title: Registered Nurse First Assist Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: First Assist Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Monday - Friday Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: - 2 years of current First Assist Operating Room experience License: - Massachusetts RN license Certifications: - Active American Heart Association BLS - Active Certified Perioperative Nurse (CNOR) Must-Have: - Bachelor of Science degree - Meditech Expanse experience (highly preferred) - Traveler must have their own vehicle Description: This position requires a Registered Nurse specializing in First Assist within the Operating Room. The Registered Nurse will assist surgical teams during procedures. The role is full-time, with scheduled shifts from Monday to Friday, totaling 40 hours per week. Successful candidates will demonstrate effective communication and collaboration skills. Travelers must upload their permanent address when applying. All requested time off during the assignment must be noted at the time of application. Candidates should be available for on-call rotations and possible holidays as needed. A skills checklist for First Assist Operating Room experience must be provided with the application. This role is vital in maintaining the high standards of care within the surgical environment.
