Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Dickson, Tennessee. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Labor and Delivery Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/07/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Labor and Delivery Nurse specializing in Obstetrics and Neonatal Care is needed for a facility in Dickson, TN. This role involves providing comprehensive labor, delivery, postpartum, and neonatal care within a Level II NICU setting. The selected candidate will join a highly experienced team and will engage in patient rounding, obstetric emergencies, and neonatal transition activities. Job Details Location: Dickson, TN Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week Start Date: 09/07/2026 End Date: 12/07/2026 Required Qualifications: Valid BLS, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and Fetal Monitoring training certifications; 3 years of labor and delivery experience, including assessment skills; ability to labor and recover mothers, transition neonates, and manage OB emergencies such as shoulder dystocia and postpartum hemorrhage. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with inductions (Pitocin, cervidil), fetal monitoring education, and advanced OB skills. Responsibilities: Performing C-sections, circumcisions, intra-uterine monitoring, and assisted deliveries using vacuum or forceps; conducting daily patient rounding with a focus on safety; adhering to hospital policies and guidelines. Dress Code: Pink and/or brown scrubs as per infant security policy. Additional Information: The unit features new equipment and technology, with six seasoned RN staff members averaging 30 years of experience each.
