Associate Litigation Attorney

Foreclosure/Litigation AssociateOur client, a well-established and growing law firm with a nationally recognized creditors' rights practice, is seeking a Foreclosure/Litigation Associate Attorney to join its Oregon team. This is an outstanding opportunity for an attorney who enjoys litigation, thrives in a collaborative environment, and is looking to build a long-term career with a firm that values professionalism, teamwork, and exceptional client service.The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter with strong analytical and writing skills who enjoys handling a diverse caseload involving foreclosure, secured lending, title disputes, and related litigation matters.ResponsibilitiesManage foreclosure and litigation matters from initial intake through resolution.Analyze new files, develop legal strategies, and prepare budgets in a timely manner.Draft a wide range of litigation documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery, legal memoranda, and client correspondence.Review chain of title, foreclosure documentation, pleadings, and related legal records.Represent clients at hearings, depositions, mediations, and court appearances throughout Oregon (Washington experience is a plus).Communicate regularly with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and internal team members.Research and analyze federal, state, and local laws, providing practical legal recommendations.Prepare reports, legal opinions, and compliance-related documentation.Manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail and client service.QualificationsJuris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.Active Oregon Bar license in good standing required.Washington Bar admission is a plus.Two or more years of experience in foreclosure, mortgage servicing, creditors' rights, real estate litigation, or related civil litigation preferred.Strong legal research and writing skills with experience drafting motions, pleadings, and discovery.Experience appearing in court and handling hearings independently.Ability to effectively prioritize a high-volume caseload in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Westlaw and/or LexisNexis, and other legal technology platforms.Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.What Our Client Is Looking ForThe successful candidate will be someone who enjoys collaborating with others while taking ownership of their work.
