TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Ortho RN in Dallas, Texas, 75243!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00-19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Current RN License Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: - Candidates must possess the required certifications. - Experience in Med-Surg nursing is essential. Description: This position is for a post-surgical unit. The patient volume is high, especially during mid-week. Candidates must be flexible and available for all shifts as needed. Excessive requests for time off will not be approved. Unit consists of 22 beds with a total of 36 staff members. The patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:5, supported by ancillary staff. Required equipment includes PCA pumps, ice machines, vital sign machines, tele boxes, and IV pumps. The electronic medical record system in use is Meditech. There is no on-call requirement for this position. Floating may be required within the facility to other units. Preferred skills include orthopedic and progressive care unit experience. Typical procedures performed include cyst removals, joint reconstructions, hip and knee surgeries, and spinal surgeries. Candidates should be energetic team players. This unit uses advanced technology and equipment. The staff is experienced, and various scheduling options are available.
