Physical Therapy Aide

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Aide to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist physical therapists in providing care to patients, ensuring a smooth and efficient rehabilitation process.

SPANISH SPEAKING REQUIRED

Duties:

• Support physical therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients.

• Assist patients with exercises and activities as directed by the therapist.

• Set up equipment and prepare treatment areas for therapy sessions.

• Monitor and report patient progress to the therapist.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of therapy areas.

Experience:

• Experience or interest in working with patients in a healthcare setting.

• Knowledge of physiology and anatomy.

• Familiarity with outpatient or acute care settings.

• Understanding of orthopedic and geriatric patient care.

• Strong patient service skills.

Skills:

• Caring attitude towards patients' well-being.

• Ability to work effectively with geriatric patients.

• Knowledge of physiology to assist in therapy procedures.

• Experience in outpatient or hospital medicine settings.

• Proficiency in providing quality patient care.
