Travel RN - Emergency Department

Location: Reston, VA

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Night Shift: 19:00 - 07:00

Job Description: We are seeking a qualified Travel RN to join our Emergency Department. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, ensuring adherence to treatment protocols and safety standards.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and triage patients in the Emergency Department
• Administer medications and manage IV initiation
• Perform procedures such as moderate sedation
• Follow established protocols including Stroke, Sepsis, and Trauma Protocols
• Collaborate with team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• 2 years of experience in a hospital setting required
• Must have an active compact RN license at submission
• BLS certification required
• ACLS and PALS certifications preferred
• Experience with TNCC and CEN is a plus
