Pediatric Gynecologist - Rank and Track Contingent on Qualifications The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Utah in partnership with Intermountain Primary Children's Medical Center is seeking a fellowship-trained pediatric gynecologist committed to an academic career in pediatric and adolescent gynecology. Responsibilities Provide patient care, teaching, and research at the University of Utah Hospital and Primary Children’s Medical Center. Teach and supervise fellows in pediatric endocrinology, reproductive endocrinology, pediatric surgery, and pediatric urology, as well as residents in obstetrics/gynecology, pediatrics, and family medicine. Provide lectures to fellows, residents, and medical students as requested. Attend Grand Rounds, M&M Conferences, Journal Clubs, division meetings, and other departmental activities. Participate in mentorship of medical students, residents, and fellows. Participate in fellow and resident interviews. Participate in pediatric multidisciplinary clinics. Contribute to administrative and committee work expected of faculty members. Required Skills and Abilities Effective written and verbal communication skills. Maintenance of professional licensure and CME requirements. Excellent interdisciplinary collaboration. Minimum Level of Preparation and Training MD or DO from an accredited institution. Board certified or board eligible in obstetrics/gynecology. Completion of a pediatric and adolescent gynecology fellowship. Completion of the ABOG focused practice designation in pediatric and adolescent gynecology, if eligible (or plan to sit for the exam when eligible). Academic rank to be determined commensurate with experience.
