Licensed Nurse, LPN or LVN

About the role You will support the Plasma Center operations as a Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) reporting to the Plasma Center Manager. Determine donor eligibility, manage informed consent, conduct medical history interview, physical examination, blood testing, and review serological protein electrophoresis (SPE). Manage donor adverse events, review laboratory test results, and notify donors of unsuitable test results. Evaluate donor reactions and follow SOPs for medical emergencies, including standing orders and transport to emergency care. Refer to Center Physician or Medical Affairs for findings requiring medical or technical guidance. Support Hepatitis B and seasonal flu vaccination programs for employees. Manage employee incidents and determine evaluation needs under occupational health/EHS guidance. Act as Pandemic Coordinator when authorized and support investigations related to pandemic threats. Qualifications High school diploma or graduation from a recognized nursing program with state requirements. Current state license or certification as LPN or LVN. Current CPR and AED certification. Fulfillment of state requirements for basic IV therapy. Completion of FDA‑approved training for BioLife Medical Support Specialist. Two years of clinical or hospital experience. Location & Compensation USA – CO – Aurora Hourly wage range: $28.16 – $38.72 (actual wage depends on experience, skills, education, certifications, location, and applicable minimum wage).
