WelderThe Welder/Fabricator is responsible for performing MIG and TIG welding on metal components and assemblies. This position primarily focuses on welding, with opportunities to learn additional fabrication processes, including operating fabrication machinery and equipment. The ideal candidate will be safety-focused, detail-oriented, and capable of producing high-quality welds in a manufacturing environment.ResponsibilitiesPerform MIG and TIG welding on a variety of metal parts and assemblies.Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders.Set up and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently.Inspect welds to ensure quality standards and specifications are met.Grind, clean, and prepare materials for welding and fabrication.Assist with cutting, tube bending, and other fabrication processes as needed.Essential SkillsTesting quality assurance.Mechanical aptitude.Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.Standing for extended periods.Capability to work around water throughout the day.Additional Skills & QualificationsDependability and detail-orientation.Commitment to maintaining quality and safety standards.Work EnvironmentThe work environment is a non-climate-controlled manufacturing setting, requiring physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 70 lbs. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
