Actual starting pay will vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, skills, specialty, and education. About This Job The SVP, Credit Administrator is a senior credit leader responsible for credit approval, portfolio oversight, and risk management across Technology lending and C&I Special Assets. This role balances new credit decisioning with the management and resolution of challenged assets, partnering closely with business leaders to support growth while maintaining strong credit discipline. Responsibilities: Review, structure, and approve new, amended, and renewed credit transactions within delegated authority Partner with Technology Banking, underwriting, and portfolio management teams on complex credit decisions Monitor portfolio performance, risk trends, and exposure levels; escalate issues as needed Provide guidance on credit structuring, policy interpretation, and risk mitigation strategies Manage a portfolio of criticized and non-performing C&I credits, driving workout and recovery strategies Lead restructurings, amendments, and exit strategies to minimize loss and optimize outcomes Collaborate with Special Assets, Legal, and business units to resolve problem credits Ensure accurate risk ratings, regulatory compliance, and adherence to credit policy Support credit governance, reporting, and presentations for senior leadership Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field 15+ years of commercial credit experience, including underwriting and special assets/workout Strong expertise in credit analysis, structuring, and risk management Experience managing complex and distressed credits Knowledge of regulatory expectations and credit policy governance Proven ability to operate effectively in a senior, cross-functional environment Axos Employee Benefits May Include: Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance Paid Sick Leave, 3 weeks’ Vacation, and Holidays (about 11 a year) HSA or FSA account and other voluntary benefits 401(k) Retirement Saving Plan with Employer Match Program and 529 Savings Plan Employee Mortgage Loan Program and free access to an Axos Bank Account with Self-Directed Trading About Axos Born digital-first, Axos delivers financial tools and services that allow individuals, small businesses, and companies to access and manage their money how, when, and where they want.
