Job Responsibilities

• Design Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patient needs and create individualized therapy strategies aimed at accomplishing their functional objectives.
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based practices to support patients in improving motor skills, cognitive function, and daily life activities.
• Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work alongside OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nurses to provide holistic and comprehensive care.
• Educate Patients and Families: Guide patients and their loved ones on therapy methods to promote continued success at home.
• Track and Document Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and modify treatment plans as necessary to keep patients on track.

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
• Continuing education opportunities and post-graduate certifications are encouraged and supported

Certifications

• Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) certification
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is necessary
