About the Role

The Company is in search of a Chief of Staff to join its dynamic team. This senior leadership role is pivotal in facilitating organizational strategy, leading the Policy and Campaigns Team, and serving as a key partner to the Executive Director. The successful candidate will be responsible for translating visionary thinking into actionable plans, ensuring strategic alignment across the organization, and leading efforts to shape and protect immigrant rights through advocacy at various levels. The Chief of Staff will also be instrumental in high-level partnership and external leadership, particularly in the context of the current political landscape. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years' experience in nonprofit or public sector organizations, with a proven track record in strategic leadership, team building, and deep expertise in policy, campaigns, and grassroots organizing. They should be adept at managing high-level relationships, facilitating decision-making, and be prepared to navigate the challenges of the moment with maturity and resilience. The role requires a commitment to the values of the organization, including a focus on diversity, inclusion, and the belief that those directly impacted should lead the movement for justice. The Chief of Staff will be expected to be a mentor, provide professional development, and be an accessible bridge between staff and senior leadership, all while maintaining a strong connection to the grassroots work that drives the organization.
